Carolyn Anderson:
Portraiture artist
Carolyn’s classes are always very popular, with fantastic class response and satisfaction. Carolyn is not only a wonderful artist with her bold and direct approach to painting, but her teaching is similar. You will go away from this class with a feeling that your time was well spent and you learned a great deal. But hurry, because as this goes to press, the class is already mostly full. Word of mouth has gotten around, and there is a great demand for her workshop.
Carolyn is an impressionist with a strong feeling of light, design and harmonious color. She is nationally recognized and accomplished in oil and pastel, and has an impressive list of awards and honors. Originally from the Chicago area, she attended school at Illinois State University, but ended up in Montana after a tour of service with the VISTA program there. She is included in many of the best shows in the nation, exhibits in numerous galleries, and has been featured in many national publications, including Southwest Art and Art of the West magazines.
If you are lucky enough to get into this class, your paintings should take a leap forward as you assimilate many of Carolyn’s techniques and teachings into your own work.
