Sadly, we lost Joe Halko in 2009 to a series of strokes. He was a kind human being and a fantastic artist. Because he had so many different sculptures cast throughout his lengthy and successful art career, we had a good inventory on his passing. His wife, Margaret, has allowed us to continue selling the stock we had on hand without raising the prices. But she has destroyed his molds, so we can't replenish his inventory. We miss every bronze we sell almost as much as we miss the artist himself. |

Joe halko was a full-time artist for the majority of his life. He always had a love for wildlife, which prompted nim to become a taxidemist before becoming an artist. His taxidermy allowed him to know the anatomy of his subject matter, both inside and out.
